Battery-Operated Fuel Overfill Alarm

This battery-operated alarm continuously monitors a fuel storage tank and gives a loud audible alarm and flashing light when a set level is reached. It is a constant monitoring alarm, not a "push to test" type, so it is always watching the level without anyone needing to check it.

How It Works

• When the rising fuel level lifts the float switch, the alarm sounds a rising beep every 2.5 seconds and the light flashes
• Press the green button to silence the sounder; the light keeps flashing until the level drops below the float
• In normal operation the light flashes every 25 seconds to show the alarm is working
• Low battery: a short beep every 25 seconds (in alarm, the beep slows to every 5 seconds to save power)
• Fault (float disconnected or cable cut): a short beep every 5 seconds
• Test at any time by pressing the green button once

Note: Must not be used to monitor petrol or other flammable liquids, or be sited next to a petrol dispenser or in any hazardous zone. Installation should be carried out by a qualified fuel installation contractor in line with relevant electrical and local authority regulations.
